Blue bed – playground three in one

Blue bed – playground three in one. In fact, this versatile piece of equipment fulfils three very important functions in the nursery. It serves as a bed, storage, as well as activity and sports centre for children!

This fantastic project was made according to the client’s sketch and the wishes of the parents of one little, active human.

Together we took measurements, agreed on the details and colors they wanted and, as in any project, followed best practice in bed making and furniture safety!
The size of the bed for this project was 120*190 cm.

A wide, safe staircase leads up to the 2nd floor, each step with deep, roomy drawers for toys, clothes, books or other essentials for every child’s daily life.
2 large chests under the bed, 2 vertical storage spaces on the wall behind the bed, which, when closed, serve as a small but very handy table – you can put your favourite toy, the book you’re reading, a bedside lamp, a phone or other essentials on it.

Blue bed – playground three in one is made of glued branchless pine. Drawers, ladder, slats under the mattress made of birch plywood. The entire structure is painted with child-safe water-based paints and varnishes that are certified and meet European standards.

The top floor has a play and sports area for children with various climbing, crawling and jumping options. The cot also features a sturdy and functional Swedish wall to help with the kid’s physical development.

We can make this unit to the size you need, to fit your nursery (height, width, depth, different colors and other options). You can choose the colour shade you need or paint in two or more shades!
