Why choose house-shaped cots?

The house bed in two colours is one of the favourite colour combinations of our customers. In the gallery of this bed you can see 3 different beds in identical colours that were ordered by our customers, each with a different configuration and dimensions.

House bed have been the clear leader in children’s furniture in our production for several years. It combines comfort, cosiness, safety and an attractive design that can be varied to suit the child and his/her parents.

What equipment and accessories does this baby bed have?

The bed is equipped with 2 large, full-extension chests on castors. The height of the legs on this bed is 25 cm in the classic combination, but in the 2nd picture you can see a bed with 35 cm high legs because the customer wanted extra large and roomy chests.

All three of the wooden children’s beds in the gallery have vertical, round slats, and the front slat can be removed when the child is older. Entrance is on the right.

As we make cots individually for each customer, the entrance location, the type of slats, the location of the chimney and the colouring can be changed or made differently.

Other possible types of slats are vertical: canted-thin or canted-thicker, which are the same thickness as the structure, and horizontal.

All types of slats have rounded edges to ensure that the structure is safe for children and that kids do not get injured when bumping into sharp edges. We believe that safety and quality come first in every piece of furniture, especially children’s furniture.

What materials do we use to make zipa.lv children’s beds?

The house bed is made of branchless glued pine!

The material we use for our children’s beds is specially made for ZiPa furniture. The slats under the mattress and the drawers are made of birch plywood.

Finishing is done with certified water-based paints that meet the requirements of European standards.

We can make the size of the house bed to fit your mattress and your needs! The most requested sizes are 70*140, 80*160, 90*180, 90*200 cm. Mattresses in these sizes are usually available from mattress manufacturers or can be ordered.

The children’s bed house in two colours was made to suit the needs of the customers. Each customer sent us their ideas and needs, which we used to make this beautiful cottage bed for their child.

There are different colour shades available, we work with RAL catalogue, but it is also possible to paint the furniture according to the customer’s colour code in another catalogue.

The colours of this cottage bed are RAL 7000 and RAL 6027!
