The Bunk corner housebed was originally designed as a double corner cot, but as the family grew they needed a third bed, so we converted the double cot into a bed suitable for three children. The layout of the bedroom determined the location of the entry points and the type of stairs. The cot slats are round, with the window and the bunk bed on the right-hand side.

The corner bed for children is equipped with two full-size chests under the left-hand bunk and one chest under the right-hand bunk.

The chests can be used creatively – as a place to play, so you don’t have to organise your belongings.

How is a corner bunk bed made?

The drawers have holes in the ends under the bed to prevent them from being pushed in deeper than intended. The corner bed box is made from one large piece of birch veneer with decorative mouldings on top.

The two-storey corner house bed ismade of glued, branchless pine, which has been glued specifically for our needs. The chest, window and slats under the mattress are made of birch plywood.

The kids bed is painted with child-safe water-based paints that are certified and meet European standards.

There are four types of bed slats.

First: canted-thick, i.e. the same thickness as the structural beams. Other possible types of slats: horizontal slats, round slats, as seen in this particular cot, and canted-thin slats, i.e. half as thin as the load-bearing timbers of the structure.

The bed can be painted in different colour, also in multiple shades.

All beds, but especially this one, look fantastic with different decorations such as lights, flags and other accessories.

In this layout, we recommend sleeping dimensions up to 160/180 cm long, but by adding an extra support option, we can make the same bed with larger sleeping dimensions.

There are different colour shades available, we work with RAL catalogue, but it is also possible to paint the furniture according to the customer’s colour code in another catalogue.
